Angelo Domenico Ancarani (died on 28 August 1849 at Rome) was a dominican inquisitor and Master General of his order.
He was born in Faenza and entered the Order of Preachers in his native city. After the restoriation of the Papal States in 1815, he served subsequently as inquisitor of Pesaro (1816–1824), Faenza (1824–1832), Fermo (1832–1838) and Bologna (1838). In 1838 he was elected Master General of the Order of Preachers. He occupied that post for six years, until 1844. Then he retired to the convent of S. Sabina in Rome and died there.
